Procida Seagull

I carried this story with me for many years and told it to so many people that it seemed superfluous to put it on paper. But one summer evening while from my terrace of the Ciraccio house in Procida I observed a group of seagulls they let themselves go on the last breeze of the mistral, I pieced together the story of my seagull with a broken wing. Ultimately, I realised that the story contains more than just a story from a father to his son. In many ways, the flight of the seagull runs parallel to the flight of many young people on the island who leave for some destination in the world to find themselves and their destiny". Thus Luigi Nappa presents the story of the seagull which seems to adhere perfectly to his real-life journey. Born in Procida, he sails the world's seas, builds ships and enriches them by designing large-format furnishings and decorative panels. The encounter with love takes him to Australia, where he spends almost the entire second part of his life. In recent years Luigi is divided between Australia and Procida, between the search for new destinations for cruise ships and painting. His battlefield is the South Pacific, South East Asia and his art gallery in Procida. A book to dream also thanks to the splendid drawings which, more than words, will reach the hearts of readers.
